Terms for Casual Publishing

These Terms for Casual Publishing apply to independent or hobbyist developers who submit a small, already-finished game to North Studio for a lightweight publishing arrangement, as opposed to a full co-development partnership under our Terms for Developers.

1. What "casual publishing" means

Casual publishing is a lightweight arrangement where you submit a finished, or nearly finished, game for us to review and, if accepted, publish under our studio with minimal additional development on our part.

2. Review is not a commitment

Submitting your game for casual publishing does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline a submission at our discretion, without obligation to provide detailed feedback.

3. Non-exclusive evaluation license

By submitting your game, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to install, run, and review it solely to decide whether to publish it. You retain full ownership of your game throughout this process.

4. If we accept your game

If we decide to publish your game, the specific terms — including any revenue share, required changes, and the length of the publishing arrangement — will be confirmed with you in writing before publishing takes place.

5. Content standards

Your game must be your own original work (or properly licensed), must not infringe any third party's rights, and must comply with the content guidelines of the app stores where it will be distributed.

6. Removal from publishing

We may remove a casually published game from our catalog at any time, for example if it violates an app store's policies, infringes a third party's rights, or if we discontinue support for it, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you beforehand.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.
