This HR Privacy Notice explains how North Studio processes the personal data of job applicants, employees, and contractors, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

1. Who this notice applies to

This notice applies to candidates who apply for a position at North Studio, as well as our current and former employees, interns, and contractors.

2. What data we collect

Stage Data collected
Recruitment CV, cover letter, contact details, interview notes, and references you choose to provide.
Employment Identity and contact details, employment contract, payroll and benefits data, performance records, and professional training records.

3. Why we process this data

We process this data to evaluate your job application, manage the employment or contractor relationship, comply with our legal and tax obligations as an employer, and, where applicable, with your consent for optional purposes such as testimonials.

4. How long we keep it

If your application is unsuccessful, we retain your candidate data for up to [X] months in case a suitable role opens up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Employee records are kept for the duration of the employment relationship plus the retention periods required by Moroccan labor and tax law.

5. Who we share it with

We share HR data with service providers who support our recruitment and payroll processes (such as payroll and background-check providers) and with public authorities where required by law.

6. Your rights

Under Law No. 09-08, you have the right to information, access, rectification, and objection regarding your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the CNDP, Morocco's data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
