Terms for Developers

These Terms for Developers apply if you submit a game or app to North Studio for evaluation, co-development, or publishing under our studio. They are in addition to our General Terms and Conditions.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to any individual or studio ("Developer") that submits a game, app, prototype, or related materials ("Submission") to North Studio for review, evaluation, co-development, or publishing.

2. Submission and evaluation

Submitting a game or app to us does not guarantee publishing, funding, or any form of partnership. We evaluate Submissions at our discretion and will contact you if we wish to proceed further. During evaluation, we may test, play, and internally discuss your Submission.

3. Ownership of your Submission

You retain ownership of your Submission unless and until a separate signed agreement (such as a publishing or co-development agreement) transfers or licenses specific rights to North Studio. Submitting your game or app to us does not, by itself, grant us ownership of it.

4. Evaluation license

By submitting a Submission, you grant North Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to install, run, and internally review it solely for the purpose of evaluation, for as long as reasonably necessary to make a publishing decision.

5. Publishing agreements

If we decide to move forward with your Submission, the terms of publishing — including revenue share, marketing, updates, and ownership of jointly developed assets — will be set out in a separate written publishing or co-development agreement, which will take precedence over these general Terms for Developers.

6. Developer obligations

• You confirm that your Submission is your own original work, or that you hold all necessary rights and licenses to submit it.
• You confirm that your Submission does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• You agree to comply with applicable app store guidelines and applicable law if your Submission is published.

7. Confidentiality

We will treat non-public details of your Submission as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties outside North Studio, except as needed to evaluate or, with your agreement, publish the Submission.

8. Governing law

These Terms for Developers are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.
